The blessing and the inaugural ceremony of Santhome Bhavan in Mira Road took place on 26thOctober 2013 at 6pm. Honorable Mayor of Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation Mrs Catleen Pereira inaugurated the building with the ceremony of cutting the ribbon.
Mar Thomas Elavanal, the Bishop of Kalyan diocese officiated the liturgical celebrations concelebrated by Very Rev Fr Kurian Ammanathukunnel[Director General, MST], Rev Fr Jose Cheriampanatt [Regional Director, Sangli] Rev Fr Mathew Anithanam [Santhome Bhavan] and
Ujjain, 29.3.14. Ten deacons made their final promise of incorporation in MST as permanent members, together with their diaconate at Ruhalaya theological College in Ujjain on March 29, 2014. The promise was taken in front of Fr Peter Vattappara, the Rector of Ruhalaya, who was delegated by the Director General.

Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle (MST) is a missionary institute of the Syro Malabar Church. The Purpose of the Society is mission ad gentes, in India and outside. Remaining faithful to the liturgical, theological, spiritual and disciplinary heritage of the Syro-Malabar Church, the Society takes up missionary apostolates in territories and among peoples and groups in which the Church has not yet taken root. True to its purpose the Society also helps to establish "Churches which would be adequately organized and would possess their own proper strength and maturity.
a. Requiem Holy Qurbana:Friday 22 November was set apart to commemorate the deceased members of the MST. The close family members of the deceased bishop/priests/ seminarians of the MST were also invited to Deepti. Requiem Holy Qurbana was officiated at the public chapel at 10.30 a.m. by the Director General and concelebrated by other priests in Deepti Mount and the relative priests of the deceased. The Director General in his homily spoke about all the deceased permanent members of the MST (21 in number) and three seminarians. The office for the dead was celebrated at the cemetery chapel.
b. Memorial Slab at the Cemetery Chapel:The memorial granite slabs with the names and images of all the deceases members with their brief details have been prepared and installed on the central wall of the cemetery chapel.
Mr. Joseph Kizhakkarakatt—beloved maternal uncle of Rev. Fr George Edattamkuzhy, and first cousin of Rev. Fr John Kizhakkarakatt—was called to eternal bliss. The funeral will take place on 06 October 2017 at St. Antony's Church, Thirumeni in the Archeparchy of Tellicherry. The funeral services will start at home at 10:30 a.m.
