MST celebrated the 48 th Foundation Day on 22 February 2015 at Deepti Mount, Melampara at 7.00 pm

On 22nd February, 2015, the MST is completed 47 years of its foundation. On 22nd February 1968, Mar Sebastian Vayalil—our Founder—promulgated the statues and erected the Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle at Melampara in the presence of Cardinal Maximilian de Fürstenberg and Pro-nuncio Archbishop Joseph Caprio and other bishops and dignitaries.

While celebrating our Society’s foundation day, let us gratefully remember and pray for our founder, pioneer members, pioneer missionaries in our missions and apostolates, and our benefactors and well-wishers. Let this be for us an occasion to re-dedicate all our apostates and missionary efforts to Our Lord through the intercession of our heavenly patron, St Thomas the Apostle. May all our pastoral and missionary endeavours be empowered by the prayer and protection of our Blessed Mother, Queen of Missions! Let this celebration help us to enter meaningfully into the renewal and empowerment programs in connection with the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the MST!
