HIERARCHICAL AUTHORITY

MST is of Major Archiepiscopal Right and juridically falls under the classification “Societies of Apostolic life” (CCEO 572). It is subject to Major Archiepiscopal authority and is governed by the particular law of the Syro-Malabar Church and the Constitutions and Directives of MST

The Missionary Society is governed by the General Assembly and administered by the Director General assisted by the General Council in accordance with the Constitutions and Directives of MST.

Administration in the regions is done by the regional directors assisted by the regional council
