To research into the changing trends in missiological and cultural world the MST has set up a missiological study centre at Kolhapur in Sangli. The centre is in its infancy striving to overcome all its infantile paralysis. The MSTs have given great importance to study the local languages of the places where they work. Special language courses are offered to those who are new in the missions. It is only after getting above-the-line-proficiency in the language, the missionary personnel are sent to the mission front. A lot of people, even other than the MSTs, benefit from the language study centres in Mandya and Sangli.
