| His beatitude Mar Varkey Cardinal Vithayathil visited Sangli Mission from 16th till 20th February. He was given a splendid reception. On his coming various programmes had been launched. The Cardinal blessed many of our new enterprises. This occasion of course was the time of great satisfaction and inspiration for all the missionaries of Sangli Mission. | ||||||||||||||||

His Beatitude Blessed the Foundation Stone of Vishwadeepti On 16th February his beatitude Mar Varkey Cardinal Vithayathil blessed the foundation stone of Vishwadeepti Missiology Centre at Kolhapur. On the same day evening, he was received by the parishioners and other people in Kolhapur. He officiated Holy Qurbana and administered the sacraments of first Holy Communion and Chrismation there. |

| Old Age Home was Blessed at Devdhe, Lanja On 17th Feb. His beatitude blessed the newly constructed old age home and visited its inmates at Devdhe Lanja. From there he proceeded to Ratnagiri where his beatitude attended the parish feast and administered the sacraments of Chrismation and First Holy Communion. |  |

Blessed the Foundation Stone for the School of MST On 19th Feb. his beatitude visited Ashadeep Counseling Centre in Sangli where he blessed the foundation stone for the proposed school of MST in Sangli. He also visited Dilasa, a centre for care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. |

Consecrated the Newly Built Church in Miraj In the presence of many priests and religious, the newly built Alphonsa Church in Miraj was consecrated by his beatitude on 19th Feb. Also, he administered the sacraments of Chrismation and First Holy communion to children of that parish. |
