| MST has always taken keen interest in bringing the mentally challenged to the mainstream of the society. In all the regions of MST the work for the mentally challenged individuals is a hallmark apsotolate. The baseline of this initiative is the attitude arising from the idea, "Less ability does not make one less human". The apostolate covers manifold activities such as early identification programmes, awareness programmes, Home Based Rehabilitation (HBR) programmes, Occupational therapeutic programmes, vocational rehabilitation etc. Hundreds of individuals and families find solace in this work of mercy.
