A good command of the vernacular helps one to establish a good rapport with the masses and share The WORD with them. Ignorance of the local language alienates one from the people.

Asmita Marathi Bhasha Kendra, a concern of The Missionary Society of St Thomas the Apostle in Sangli Mission, gives special training to the messengers of The WORD to carry out their respective mission
successfully through an intensive study of Marathi language and culture.
