"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord" (Lk 4:18,19). Taking inspiration from these profetic words of Jesus MST is commited to the cause of all sorts of work that bringforth the Kingdom of God on the face of the earth.

MST undertakes the following apostolates: preaching and catechesis, formal and informal education, hospitals and dispensaries, social empowerment of the weak and women, training and rehabilitation of mentally challenged, physically handicapped, HIV/AIDS victims, street children, tribals and marginalised, prisoners and their siblings.
